US Citizens
Having a passport for traveling enables you to experience many beautiful locations and rewarding cultural experiences abroad. By planning ahead, you will have time enough to easily get your passport and get ready to join us in beautiful Montreal, Canada.
The US Department of State issues passports at a wide variety of locations. If this is your first time getting a passport, you will need to apply in person at one of the 9,000 listed State Department locations.
First time passport holders can view application requirements which include:
- Proof of Citizenship such as a certified Birth Certificate (with raised seal, many states allow you to get duplicate certified copies), or a Naturalization or Citizenship Certificate.
- Application Form DS-11 filled out (but not signed)
- Proof of Identity as a Drivers Licence
- Two passports photos
- Pay application fee of $100.
Allow yourself plenty of time to apply in case you need to get copies of your birth certificate etc. Processing time listed is 4 weeks once you have applied, however time may vary according to location. Expedited services are available for additional fees.
International Visitors
