Meet our Keynote Speaker – Felicia Slattery
After
quite a lengthy review process, one Keynote Speaker candidate stood out
above the rest – Felicia Slattery. Her passion for developing effective
communication skills, and using those communication skills in every aspect
of life was an attractive quality and spoke to our theme for the 2009
Summit – "No Boundaries for Your Business." After all –
effective communication skills bust those boundaries that have been erected,
either by you or by the business world.
Felicia started her coaching business – Transformative Journey – in February of 2006. In July of 2007, the coaching business naturally evolved into Communication Transformation, her current company. While Transformative Journey was focused on personal relationship communication, more and more of her clients were interested in using the skills learned in personal relationship communication in their business life. The expertise she has in communication has naturally evolved into her public speaking services.
Felicia will be working with the Summit attendees in establishing effective communication with their clients, both nearby and around the world. Communication is one of the key elements of any successful business, and especially for businesses where we don’t usually see clients face-to-face. There’s no secret trick to having a successful online business, which some people believe. Having a successful online business depends upon effective communication, with your clients, your peers, and anyone you happen to meet. Felicia J. Slattery lives her life with energy, passion and enthusiasm because she realizes each moment is precious. After nearly losing her life during childbirth in 2004, she began to put her communication and public speaking talents to use to create a positive impact on the world. She is a teacher, trainer, speaker, writer, consultant and coach and specializes in training busy professionals to succeed through effective communication and by delivering results-driven presentations. She holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Adult Education and Training and another in Communication. Her enthusiastic passion for communication is contagious because she knows that one important message delivered with power can transform a life.
